My name is Csilla (pronounced Cheela; Hungarian for the brightness of a star), and I was a patient at the UCSD Intensive Outpatient Program for anorexia from May 29 – August 5, 2013. This blog is about my new life in recovery. I am thankful for anyone who reads/comments on my entries, sharing in my process of life-long recovery. I am happy to share any and all lessons I am learning about eating disorders, recovery, and life.
About my life outside of my eating disorder: I am an MD/PhD student at UCSD, currently working on my PhD in Biomedical Sciences. My favorite hobby is dance; I teach Argentine tango and am on a performance West Coast Swing dance team. I am in a loving relationship with the man of my dreams, and our dogs are a constant source of amusement. I like playing intense board games (Battlestar Galactica, Game of Thrones, Twilight Struggle, and others) regularly with friends and think that Breaking Bad is one of the best TV shows ever.
